Read to Me Book Drive
Donate New or Gently Used Children’s Books April 1 - 20!
SLFCU is partnering with Sandia National Laboratories for this year’s Read to Me Book Drive! SLFCU branches in central New Mexico will accept new and gently used children’s books (K-5 in English, Spanish, or bilingual) from April 1 - 20. Donated books will be distributed to 90 schools and community groups throughout the Albuquerque area and four surrounding counties, positively impacting thousands of children and their families. Monetary donations are also accepted online only. Visit aps.edu/education-foundation/Giving and note “SLFCU/Sandia Labs Read to Me” in the additional information section.
Our Farmington, NM and Livermore, CA branches will also collect new and gently used books (K-5 in English, Spanish, and bilingual) during this time to benefit schools and community groups in their local areas.
