SLFCU Named a Top Credit Union in NM Three Years in a Row
It’s a three-peat! Sandia Laboratory Federal Credit Union has been recognized once again as a Best-in-State Credit Union by Forbes. SLFCU ranked among the top three credit unions in New Mexico for the third year in a row, according to the 2021 list. Of the 5,068 credit unions nationwide, just 3.6% made the cut.
Forbes partnered with market research firm Statista to produce the rankings. Nearly 25,000 U.S. customers were surveyed for their opinions on their current and former banking relationships. Financial institutions were scored on overall recommendations and satisfaction, as well as five subdimensions: trust, terms and conditions, branch services, digital services, and financial advice.
“For SLFCU to place so highly, especially after all of the challenges of the past year, demonstrates the high level of trust our members place with us,” said Robert Chavez, SLFCU President and CEO. “Our ranking is a testament to SLFCU’s dedicated and caring employees who work hard each and every day to help improve the financial lives of our members.”
