Get the Cash ABQ is a fun, quick way to get some quick cash – if you know where to look! Here’s how it works, according to KOB 4’s interview with the creator of Get the Cash ABQ: To get people outside and earn some cash, the (unnamed) creator will either put the cash under a rock or tape it somewhere hidden, then post a teaser video of the cash drop location to Instagram and TikTok for all to see. Whoever gets there first will get the cash!

- Apply for SLFCU membership online or at a branch. Add the code to your online application where indicated, or give it to the SLFCU representative with whom you are meeting. Contest Rules
Enter the Get the Cash ABQ contest sponsored by Sandia Laboratory Federal Credit Union (SLFCU) between the contest period of August 12 to September 6 by visiting SLFCU’s social media post(s) on Instagram or TikTok and/or the Get the Cash ABQ’s Instagram or TikTok pages, finding the hidden prize location, and being the first to claim the prize. A total of twelve (12) grand prize winners will each receive $100 in cash during the contest period. Estimated odds of winning are dependent on the number of participants seeking the prize. No purchase is necessary. Contest is open to persons that are aged 18 and over only. SLFCU reserves the right to modify, extend, or terminate the contest period and adjust the total number of prize offerings without prior notice. The contest will run until all prizes are claimed.
By entering the contest, you give SLFCU permission to share your photo, photo caption entry, and name on social media, slfcu.org, and in other promotional materials.
Contest participants agree that SLFCU shall not be liable for any injury, including illness, death, loss, or damage of any kind caused or claimed to be caused, by participating in this contest, including traveling to prize contest locations in each area.

Terms & Conditions
The New Member Bonus Offer for Get the Cash ABQ Sponsored by SLFCU (the “Offer”) is available for a limited time only. SLFCU reserves the right to modify, extend, or terminate the Offer at any time without prior notice. The Offer is limited to a prospective new SLFCU member (“New Member”) who uses a referral code to receive one (1) $200 New Member Bonus as promoted in the Offer videos. The New Member must provide the referral code before the application process is complete when applying for membership at an SLFCU branch. If applying online, the referral code must be entered into the membership application form where indicated. A maximum of one (1) referral code may be used by a New Member.
To receive the Offer, the New Member must be at least 18 years old, reside in the United States, and agree to the terms and conditions of the Offer. The New Member must meet SLFCU membership eligibility requirements.
For a New Member to receive the Offer, they must not have been an SLFCU member within the past 180 days. They must open a new membership at SLFCU with a minimum deposit of $1, open a Quick Cash or Money Manager Checking account, and establish recurring ACH direct deposits of at least $100. Qualifying direct deposits must be ACH deposits of payroll, pension, or government benefits (such as Social Security). All the above requirements must be met within the first 60 days of establishing membership.
When all the above requirements are met, the New Member will receive the Offer. Offer will be deposited into the member’s primary savings account within 40 days of all requirements being met. Accounts must be in good standing at the time of Offer.
SLFCU employees who meet all Offer requirements are eligible to participate as a New Member.
Tax implications may apply to the awarded bonus. Nonresident alien individuals participating in the program should have a current IRS Form W8-BEN on file with SLFCU, if applicable, or otherwise be subject to backup withholding. SLFCU is not responsible for any lost, stolen, and/or expired referral codes or links, or any technical issues or errors that may prevent the referrals from joining or enrolling in direct deposit. SLFCU reserves the right to disqualify any participants who violate the Offer rules, SLFCU policies, or any applicable laws or regulations.

New Membership Savings Account earns 0.05% APY (Annual Percentage Yield) on balances of $100 - $9,999 and Money Manager Checking earns 0.05% APY on balances of $500 and over.
