Depositing Checks from Home
Many SLFCU members have taken advantage of mobile deposit through online banking. Here are some tips to keep in mind as you deposit checks:
- Endorse (sign) your check before starting the deposit process.
- Use black ink to endorse the check – other colors, including blue, are not visible to the capture system and may cause errors.
- The system won’t accept third party checks – any check that has been signed over to another person – including checks made out to a child who then signed it over to a parent.
Mobile deposit is available to eligible members through online banking.
